Rooting around

Beautiful summer day here in England. Sun has been out for at least 2 hours, and the temperature has hit 60! The children next door are doing cannonballs into their pool, and neighbors' barbecue smoke would be wafting through our windows if they were open.

Inspired by the weather, we headed to Garson's farm this morning to get some carrots and beets, which are at the peak of their season. Notice we are wearing sweaters; it is July frigging 22nd.
